[SARC] TERMINATION OF SAME ALERTING SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENTS EFFECTIVE AUGUST 16 2008 - NWS TALLAHASSEE

John,
 
I am confused.
 
I called the NWS in Tallahassee, Florida this morning (Thursday) . Paul was out of the office until sometimes Friday. So I talked to another employee. I read him this email and he could not understand it. It was news to him also.  He said Paul must have sent this out Wednesday night. 
 
Is the SAME being removed on the Weather Radios also ??  or is this just for email text messages ?? or something else ??
 
Also do you think the Mobile NWS would drop the SAME also ??
 
I hope they keep the SAME because I don't like getting woke up at 3am for a flash flood watch when it is not even raining. I set up my Weather Radio up for Warnings only.
