FYI - A very interesting article in the Sept. Astronomy Magazine titled 
"The Coming Solar Superstorm".. I found this article via a search by title 
on Science Resource Center database. It prints out to six (6) pages from 
Astronomy Magazine - Sept. 2008 - v36 - i9 - p34... They're talking 2010-2012..

Interesting reading, indeed.  It would really be bad to be getting
ready for the Mother of All DX situations just to discover that all
the epitaxial layers and semiconductor junctions in your gear had all
fused together.

They were reporting structure fires from inducted voltages in
telegraph wire...I can just imagine what would happen with all the
twin lead I've got strung all over creation.  73
