Good evening/morning/day (depending on when you read this message), I have some exciting news to announce.  Our new antenna for the Opp repeater (W4ORC - 146.640) has been placed on the Opp Cable tower at approximately 280 feet at the top.  The new antenna is an ANDREW DB224-E 4-bay antenna, fed with 7/8" heliax.  If possible, I'd like to get some signal reports from HT, mobile, and qth stations, especially in the Andalusia area, and south towards Florida.  Please e-mail or tell me by voice on the radio the S-meter reading, your location, TX power, and type of radio (HT, mobile, or the shack).  

Also, with the new antenna, I had to move the repeater into a different building (still at the same site), and I don't have internet access there "yet".  I will work on that this week when I get some time so that we can get Echolink operational again for the repeater.
