[SARC] DOZIER NOAA WX RADIO INTERNET FEED *(UPDATE)*

This is an update to the previous e-mails I have sent before, regarding the NOAA Wx Radio Internet Stream I put on the Internet (a few may be getting this for the first time). I have moved the streaming server to a location with backup power, so that it will be up 99.9% of the time. However, it is still dependent on an Internet connection. Therefore, if
the Internet goes down, either on the server end, or the client (you),
you will not be able to listen to the Wx stream. So, please keep an
alternative method to listen for your weather alerts just in case.

Once again, I have gotten my NOAA Weather Radio audio stream from Dozier, AL on the internet for those
who would be interested in using it. Might be something you could pass
on to your friends so that they could listen in at work/home if they're
not near a NOAA weather alert radio.

NOTE: You must have a broadband connection to listen (cable modem, DSL, wireless, T-1, etc.).

To listen in, you have a few options.

First, you can go here: http://audioplayer.wunderground.com/KI4RWL/KIH59.mp3.m3u and it will play the audio stream in your default mp3 program (Windows Media, WinAmp, RealPlayer, etc.).

You can access the page with the built-in player here: http://www.wunderground.com/wxradio/index.html. After you bring the page up, just click on the button that says "Listen" or "Standalone" in the row for Dozier, Alabama.

Or, if you'd like to get local weather information and forecast information along with the NOAA audio stream, visit: http://www.wunderground.com/
and type in your local ZIP code in the box at the top left fo the
screen (Next to the Weather Underground logo) and press "Enter" or
click the "search" button next to the box. Then, scroll down about
mid-way of the page that loads, and choose "Weather Radio". Then select
the station you wish to listen to (Dozier, AL), and press the "play"
icon. While on this same page, you can also look at forecast
information, local weather station conditions, and lots of other
interesting information.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
