[SARC] Amateur Radio Exam Study Session (Revised)

The Opp Amateur Radio Club will be sponsoring License Study Classes for the
*Technician-Class* License Exam.  The class will be offered at the Opp
Public Library in Opp, Alabama, next to LBW Community College (North Main
Street, or "old" US 331 North).

The class date is September 26th, 2009, and begin at 8 AM.

*ALL students are asked to bring the following:*
Writing utensil (Pen or Pencil)
Note paper (Notebook, legal pad, etc.)
Sack Lunch (We only have approximately 30 mins for lunch)
A well-rested mind, ready to learn!

The tentative class schedule for the Tech study session will be as follows:
Saturday, Sept. 26:
*7:45 AM -- Be at class rooms by then.
8:00 AM - 12:30 PM -- Study on sections T01 thru T05*
12:30 PM -- Break for lunch (30 mins)
1:00 PM - 5:30 PM -- Study on sections T06 - T10*
***There will be a short break between each section.*

 For those who would like to get their study material prior to the study
session, OR will be unable to attend next Saturday, please visit the

These materials will also be available in print at the study sessions.  I
will also provide a printed copy for anyone who would like one (drop-off or
US Mail).

If you're going to be studying for your initial amateur radio license
(Technician-Class), click on the "TECH" folder link.  If you are studying
for your General-Class amateur radio license, click on the "GEN" folder
link.  In the "READERS" folder link, there are 3 viewer programs for the
appropriate file types IF you do not have a program already installed to
view and/or print the files.

Each main folder contains lots of useful information in the form of ADOBE
ACROBAT documents, WORD documents or POWERPOINT presentations.  They are
free to use, and available for anyone at any time.

*TEST SESSION:  Saturday, Oct. 03
**Materials needed:*
Writing Utensils (Pen or Pencil) ****
2 Forms of ID (Driver's License, Work badge, Social Security Card, etc.)

Current Amateur Radio License (if upgrading) ****
Photocopies of all IDs and Amateur Radio License ****
Test Fee ($15.00) ****
The Technician, General, and Amateur Extra license exams will be offered
this date.
