[SARC] Greenville Hamfest

I was told Jackson, Miss took all the vedors away becasue the date was so close. Why Jackson moved the date I don't know.
 
Greenville was moved to May. I will not be going to Greenville because it is to close to Mothers Day .

Anyone know why the Greenville Hamfest was moved to May 1st instead of the last weekend in January?  I kept looking for announcements for it, but I had heard none.  I went to the Alabama-ARRL website (http://www.arrl-al.org/hamfest.htm) and found that it will be held on May 1st this year.
 
Kind of stinks, because I was looking forward to going at the end of the month, but now I’ve got to wait a couple of months until another local hamfest comes around (PARC in Ft Walton).
